I'm a girl of the sea, always have been. As a child, I lived on the Zeedijk in Raversijde (Ostend) and could often be found at the beach. During my adolescence, I'd spend time between studying watching the waves or running in the dunes. After living in Africa for a considerable time, I returned to my roots. Wherever I went, the sea remained a haven for me, a haven where I could share my deepest secrets. Although I eventually ended up in Bruges, I always felt drawn to the water when visiting my parents in Raversijde. So it wasn't a strange choice that I ultimately fell for the studio in Middelkerke. From the very first moment, when the salesperson opened the windows and I sat down in the corner by the balustrade, I knew. I fell in love instantly and made the decision before my partner or children had even seen the studio. I knew immediately: I would feel happy here.
